The Northern California Hanfu Society recently held a Hanfu Travel Day. The event was held under the Christmas tree on Santana Row, the busiest place in San Jose, attracting hundreds of Hanfu enthusiasts. Yan Jieyu, president of the Northern California Hanfu Society, said that the Northern California Hanfu Society was established in 2017 and currently has nearly 600 members, most of whom are high-tech people and international students active in the San Francisco Bay Area and surrounding areas. Members actively promote traditional Chinese culture such as calligraphy, folk arts, and martial arts.

Since its establishment, Hanfu Club has held many gatherings, tea parties and Hanfu-themed activities.
